Upvan, (The Garden) - a day care center
 Upvan is run by the Trust in partnership with Cini Asha. The centre provides shelter for teenaged girls who might otherwise be in moral danger and offers basic education in the morning and vocational training in the afternoons. Tailoring and handicraft skills are aimed at making the girls self-sufficient in the future.
At Upvan there are 70 girls, and about 30 girls have been shifted to formal schools in the last 4 years. To increase their interest, educational and vocational camps are organized regularly. Creativity and pre-vocational training are given to interested girls. Classes are conducted on handmade painting. Monthly meetings are organized for parents & councilling sessions for the girls. Such sessions are conducted by professional experts every month.
Skilled girls with expertise in vocational work are placed in different NGOs for jobs. They are also encouraged to run small businesses of their own.
